Our sacral chakra is the second chakra from our body, and it’s all about creativity, emotional health, and sexuality. It’s associated with the color orange, and it’s also called Svadhisthana. This name is derived from two Sanskrit words, ‘Swa’ and ‘Adhisthana,’ where swa means ‘one’s own and ‘adhisthana’ means abode or seat.
This chakra can be blocked by trapped emotions, such as fear, resentment, blame, shame, and guilt. If this chakra is unbalanced or blocked, it can make people feel anger, jealousy, cruelty, hatred, pride, and intense desire. It is located just below the navel, right in the center of our lower belly, and it affects our hips, kidneys, pelvis, sexual organs, and lower back.
The Sacral chakra is connected with relationships and all the emotions that come with it. The main focus of this energy center is allowing us to create and feel. Create the dream life we desire, such as birthing a family, creating a hobby, or starting a project. It is about giving yourself space to feel your emotions, release, and express them fully. Feeling safe emotionally will allow you to discover what to enjoy in life, form hobbies, and create loving and exciting relationships.
Your sacral chakra is an energetic and physical womb. This is your direct connection to your soul. Your womb is our portal to the Universe and Higher Self. When we have an active connection to those things, we are able to live grounded and in alignment with abundance.
When the sacral is out of balance, it can make us feel fear, depression, manic or emotional instability, overwhelmed, loss of imagination or creativity, sexual dysfunction, reproductive issues, and even addiction. The fear of abandonment causes loss of financial power because of the trauma, making people very insecure.
When we are trying to conceive, we must ensure this chakra is open and balanced. The chakra must be open when your spirit’s baby soul transcends at the time of conception.
When your Sacral chakra is open and balanced, you can feel most connected to your soul and you will feel stimulated and full of new ideas. It will give you the confidence to make significant changes in your life, without fear and judgment.
